School Advisory Committee
St Joseph's School Advisory Committee provides the opportunity for members of the School, Parish and Archdiocesan community to support the mission of Catholic Education in the School.
The six main areas that the School Board focus on include:
- Enrolments and growth
- Financial
- Catholic Identity and Faith
- Academic Programs
- Physical Resources
- Leadership
The Committee operates at the strategic level to support the Principal in the refinement of the directions and goals of the school overtime. Working with the Principal, the Advisory members provide leadership to the wider school community. The School Advisory Committee provides advice to the Principal on local policies for the school and faciliate the implementation of Archdiocesan policies.
Management matters are the responsibility of the Principal.
Parents and staff representatives are elected on a rotational basis. The School Advisory Committee meets twice per term.
